Nevada HAND's Resident Services team hosts back-to-school events at each family apartment community to get students ready for school. During these events, students receive free backpacks and school supplies, dental screenings with a fluoride treatment, immunization check-ups, and more! This event is free to all residents to set them up for a successful school year.
Nevada HAND's Director of Government Relations, Arielle Edwards, recently returned from the 82nd Legislative Session in Carson City. During the session, and year-round, Ms. Edwards works to champion legislation and policies that support desperately needed affordable housing options in Nevada.
