Nevada HAND is dedicated to providing low-income individuals with a safe, high-quality place to call home, but our mission extends beyond that core commitment. Our affordable apartment communities and supportive on-site Resident Services create “More Than a Home,” an approach that helps enrich the lives of more than 8,000 low-income seniors, working adults, and school-aged children. We are committed to providing living environments that uplift and empower residents, helping seniors to live more independent and satisfying lives and equipping children and families with the resources necessary for a brighter future. Annual Giving: Sustain Mission-Driven Core Programs
An integral part of Nevada HAND’s current and future success is the network of donors who invest in our mission with annual gifts. Your Annual Giving Donations help support an impactful program of Resident Services serving over 8,000 low-income individuals. Resident Services provided at Nevada HAND communities include educational programming for adults and children, back-to-school and senior wellness events, holiday meals and festive community events, free transportation and food pantries for seniors, and regular access to on-site, personalized support to help residents access the resources needed to live more stable, happy, and healthy lives.

“30 for 30″ Annual Giving Campaign
Celebrate Nevada HAND’s 30th anniversary with us through our “30 for 30” giving campaign. Your Annual Giving contribution in 2024 will commemorate Nevada HAND’s three decades of service in Southern Nevada and support mission-driven Resident Services for over 8,000 individuals.
- We encourage existing supporters to elevate their impact by increasing their last gift by 30% during our 30th anniversary year, and to spread the word among their network to join in this milestone celebration.
Donation Levels: Each donation, regardless of its size, plays a vital role in sustaining and expanding our ability to offer “More Than a Home” to low-income seniors and working families.
- Founder’s Circle $10,000 – $30,000 – A transformative contribution, allowing Nevada HAND to continue investing in and enriching our Resident Services program.
- All 1993 Society Benefits.
- Option for donor and a guest to take a private tour of a current Nevada HAND community or construction site, as safety and availability allow.
- 1993 Society $3,000 – $9,999 – A substantial investment in our mission.
- All Community Sustainer benefits.
- Invitation to join unique volunteer opportunities at Nevada HAND communities.
- Community Sustainer $300 – $2,999 – Meaningful operating support for our annual Resident Services program.
- All Neighbor benefits.

Sponsorships: Targeted Support for Impactful Services
We gratefully acknowledge our sponsors with diverse benefits including event signage, social media recognition, newsletter features, and possibilities for custom resident giveaways. High-level sponsors may also have unique opportunities to engage directly with our communities. At Nevada HAND, we collaborate with our sponsors to create authentic and meaningful recognition opportunities that align with our mission and prioritize resident service.

Community Champion: Support Nevada HAND’s personalized, wraparound Resident Services at a select community for an entire year! Your sponsorship will cover the full cost of on-site Resident Services for one Nevada HAND community for a year, including staffing, events, special services, and more.
- $75,000 per community per year.
- Benefits will include year-round physical signage recognition in the sponsored community, sponsor recognition in an issue of the monthly newsletter and social media channels, two (2) complimentary tickets to The Neighborhood Block Party, and opportunities to visit the sponsored community and share appropriate information.
Transportation Driver: Help Nevada HAND provide essential, free, fixed-route transportation for nearly 3,000 senior residents, ensuring access to vital destinations such as grocery stores, pharmacies, essential doctor appointments, and local activities. These trips aren’t just a convenience for low-income seniors — they are a lifeline.
- $3,000 – Support one month of transportation for one senior community.
- Benefits will include sponsor recognition in an issue of the monthly newsletter, in-community signage recognition, and other appropriate communication channels.
- $120,000 – Enhance our transportation fleet with a new, accessible shuttle.
- Benefits will include sponsor recognition in an issue of the monthly newsletter and other appropriate communication channels, the opportunity for logo recognition on the donated vehicle, two (2) complimentary tickets to The Neighborhood Block Party, and an invitation to visit select communities to see transportation services in action.
Education Advocate: Your support will help empower over 2,300 school-aged children through after-school programming provided on-site at Nevada HAND communities, offering vital homework assistance, access to technology, after-school nutrition, and opportunities for academic growth and development.
- $5,000 – Contribute to the foundational needs of academic support and nutrition.
- Benefits will include sponsor recognition in an issue of the monthly newsletter and other appropriate communication channels, and the opportunity to visit an after-school program event.
- $15,000 – Provide extensive support, encompassing a wide range of educational and enrichment activities.
- Benefits will include sponsor recognition in an issue of the monthly newsletter and other appropriate communication channels, the option for in-community signage with sponsor recognition, and the option to visit select after-school program events.
Pantry Provider: Free, on-site, fresh-food pantries are available at select Nevada HAND senior communities where resident data shows higher rates of food insecurity. Your support helps ensure seniors in Nevada HAND communities don’t have to compromise on quality nutrition due to financial constraints, significantly enhancing their quality of life.
- $125,000 – Fully stock a single Senior Choice Food Pantry with fresh, nutritious food for one year.
- Benefits include dedicated sponsor recognition in an issue of the monthly newsletter, on Nevada HAND’s website, and other appropriate communication channels; the opportunity for logo recognition on in-community signage at one pantry during the year of sponsorship; two (2) complimentary tickets to The Neighborhood Block Party; and an invitation to visit the sponsored community to see pantry services in action.
- $3M – Provide comprehensive support to sustain the entire Senior Choice Food Pantry program – across seven senior communities – for three years.
- Benefits include sponsor recognition across multiple communication channels, the opportunity for logo recognition on in-community signage at all pantries during the period of sponsorship, two (2) complimentary tickets to The Neighborhood Block Party, and an invitation to visit select communities to see pantry services in action.
- Naming opportunities available for new pantries opening in 2024.
Service Partner Sponsor: Independent, professional service providers partner with Nevada HAND to sponsor the Resident Services program and offer high-quality, mission-centered services on-site for residents at select communities. This unique sponsorship opportunity is developed in close partnership with Resident Services to ensure a relationship that sustains the provider’s business model and prioritizes low- or no-cost, high-quality services for residents.
- Sponsor benefit packages will be customized based on the type of service and the level of sponsorship, to include appropriate recognition in communication channels and mission-appropriate access to Nevada HAND communities.

Back-to-School Community Events (July): Help ensure that school-aged children living in Nevada HAND communities have the supplies, support, and health check-ups to get them ready for a successful school year! Click to learn more.
- $1,000: Provide food and activities for a Back-to-School event at one Nevada HAND family community.
- $2,500: Purchase 100 backpacks to be distributed (free of charge) to children at a Back-to-School event.
- $5,000: Fully fund a back-to-school event, including free backpacks and school supplies, at one Nevada HAND family community.
- Benefits include tiered sponsor recognition in communication about the back-to-school events (blog posts, social media posts, recap in the monthly newsletter), and, as appropriate and determined in partnership with the Resident Services team, the opportunity to exhibit or present at select back-to-school events.
Senior Wellness Festival (September): Approximately 2,900 residents from Nevada HAND’s independent senior communities are invited to gather at a central location for a day of community engagement, services, and access to health and wellness vendors. Click to learn more.
- Sponsor Opportunities range from $5,000 to $10,000
- Benefits include tiered sponsor recognition in Senior Wellness Festival communication (blog posts, social media posts, recap in the monthly newsletter), two (2) complimentary tickets to the Neighborhood Block Party fundraising event in October, and, at the highest levels, the opportunity for logo recognition on Senior Wellness Festival give-away items.
- Vendor Table: $500
- In-Kind Gift opportunities include catering, give-away items, or venue donations, after consultation with Resident Services leadership.
The Neighborhood Block Party (October): Our annual fundraising event, this “party with a purpose” is an informal, fun night out in support of Nevada HAND’s mission to provide affordable housing solutions and supportive Resident Services for low-income seniors and working families. At our inaugural event in 2023, we celebrated with over 200 guests and raised enough funds to buy a new vehicle for essential transportation services; we look forward to making an even bigger impact in 2024! - Event Date: October 3, 2024
- Event format: an informal “block party” featuring games, music, and great food and drinks!
- Benefits include tiered sponsor recognition in pre- and post-party communication and marketing outreach as well as on event signage, ticket packages to attend the event, and, at the highest levels, the opportunity for logo recognition on event give-away items.
Holiday Hearts: Give the gift of the holiday spirit year-round with a donation in support of special programming, celebrations, and nutritious community meals during major holidays. Holidays with special programming include (but not limited to): Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Independence Day, Halloween, Veterans’ Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
- $2,500 Contribute to general holiday festivities, supporting the joyous atmosphere of the season, at five Nevada HAND communities.
- $5,000 Sponsor holiday celebrations, including community meals or special activities, at 10 Nevada HAND communities.
- $15,000 Be recognized as a premier sponsor for an entire holiday season across all Nevada HAND communities, ensuring a memorable experience for all residents with enhanced activities and meals.
- Benefits include tiered sponsor recognition in communication about the holiday events (blog posts, social media posts, recap in the monthly newsletter) and, as appropriate and determined in partnership with the Resident Services team, the opportunity to exhibit or present at select holiday events.
