Nevada HAND is deeply grateful for Verizon’s ongoing partnership and generous support of Resident Services programs, and, most recently, for the invitation to join a truly special community event. We were honored to be invited as one of Verizon’s two non-profit guests (along with Donna Street Community Center) at the NFL Super Kids – Super Sharing event on January 25th. This marks the 25th anniversary of Super Kids – Super Sharing, an NFL Green initiative that gathers donations for local children in every Super Bowl host community. As one of two beneficiaries of Verizon’s support at the event, Nevada HAND received both a generous cash donation from Verizon and many boxes of supplies, toys, and books that will benefit residents in our family communities!
Five students from Nevada HAND communities served as fantastic representatives at the event, and enjoyed a great day playing field games and meeting Las Vegas Raiders players! Thank you to NFL Green and Jack and Susan Groh for organizing the Super Kids – Super Sharing event, and, especially, thank you to Verizon for your continued investment in helping Nevada HAND provide “More Than a Home” through Resident Services!
