One of the great things about working at Nevada HAND is feeling connected to an entire company of people working to provide "More Than a Home" for low-income seniors and families. It takes a LOT of expert teams to make our mission a reality: Asset Management, Assisted Living, Compliance, Construction, Corporate Affairs, Finance, Human Resources, Operational Excellence, Property Management and Maintenance, Real Estate Development, and Resident Services. And everyone has an important role to play in providing affordable housing and supportive Resident Services to over 8,300 seniors, working adults, and children who call Nevada HAND home.

Connecting to community.

To help us all connect to and better understand the work going on across the company, Nevada HAND holds quarterly "All HANDs" staff meetings. A wide range of team members share updates on new development projects, construction progress, upcoming events, and strategic planning and initiatives. We also celebrate a variety of staff member accomplishments, including internal career advancements. We conclude each meeting with an "Ask Audra" session, during which any staff member can ask our President and CEO, Audra Hamernik, about anything they would like to know about Nevada HAND. These meetings are a great opportunity to learn about and celebrate all we are accomplishing together. They are also a fun chance to connect across all roles in the company, as well as occasionally enjoy a dress-up theme with Western, Hawaiian, or even Golden Knights-themed outfits.
