Michael
Mullin, Founder and President of Nevada H.A.N.D.,
Inc., a nonprofit, community-based housing organization
in Las Vegas, Nevada. Organized in 1993, Nevada H.A.N.D.,
Inc. has been awarded over $11.2 million in grants and
has participated in the development of over 1,585 affordable
housing units at a cost of over $130,000,000.
Prior to founding Nevada H.A.N.D., Inc., Mullin spent
14 years as a residential and commercial real estate
broker with Americana Group Realtors, the largest real
estate company in Nevada. Specializing in the disposition
of real estate owned by financial institutions, he transacted
over $90,000,000 in real estate sales. Mike is a Certified
Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of the Commercial
Investment Real Estate Institute of the National Association
of Realtors, and a Graduate of the Builder’s Institute
(GBI) offered by the Lied Institute of Real Estate Studies
at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas.
Mullin was appointed by the Board of Directors of Federal
Home Loan Bank of San Francisco to its Affordable Housing
Advisory Council, and by the Board of Clark County Commissioners
to its Affordable Housing Committee. He also serves
as an advisor to the Southern Nevada Affordable Housing
Resource Center and is a member of the Southern Nevada
Accountable Banking Committee. |

Margaret
A. (“Peg”) Freman is the Chief
Financial Officer. Joining the organization in November
2002, she is responsible for the oversight of all financial
and accounting transactions and reporting, including
the development and implementation of related policies,
procedures and reporting mechanisms for Nevada H.A.N.D.,
Inc., and its affiliates, including HAND Construction
Co., HAND Property Management Co., HAND Development
Co., and HAND Enterprises, Inc.
Freman has over twenty years of accounting and finance
experience, serving as Chief Financial Officer for several
organizations, including Houlihan, Lokey, Howard and
Zukin, Inc., a privately held international investment
banking firm; On Stage Entertainment, Inc., a publicly
traded live production company; and The OneTree Group,
a privately held manufacturer and installer of custom
built semi-permanent aluminum and fabric structures.
She also has over 4 years of public accounting experience
with Price Waterhouse, where she performed and supervised
audits as part of the small/emerging business group.
Freman has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting
from Indiana University, Bloomington, where she graduated
with honors. She received her certification as a CPA
from the State of California in 1982. She has also volunteered
her time as an economics instructor for Junior Achievement. |

Catherine
Cimino, SPHR, is our Human Resources Manager.
Cimino joined the organization in 2001 originally as
a volunteer at our Country Ridge Villas Latchkey Center.
As the Human Resources Manager, she is responsible for
recruiting, interviewing and hiring; development of
company policies and procedures; compensation and benefits
administration; employment law compliance; OSHA compliance;
employee relations; and development and delivery of
company training programs.
Cimino has over 17 years of HR experience primarily
in the health care industry. She has developed and implemented
human resource policies and procedures including the
composure of employee handbooks and supervisor training
on issues surrounding employment law.
Cimino graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee
with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work. She
is a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources
and is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management,
Southern Nevada Human Resources Association and World
at Work (formerly American Compensation Association). |

Mic
Cochran is the Executive Vice President of
HAND Property Management Company, a wholly controlled
affiliate of Nevada H.A.N.D., Inc., that provides property
management services for low and moderate income housing
communities. Cochran’s responsibilities include
establishing and monitoring policies, procedures and
reporting; staffing; supervising property managers,
leasing agents and maintenance staff; and general oversight
of Nevada H.A.N.D., Inc.’s apartment communities.
As the Director of Portfolio Management with Lennar
Affordable Communities prior to joining HAND Property
Management Company in 2001, he was accountable for the
overall performance of the company’s asset portfolio
consisting of 70 apartment properties containing over
9,200 units in 18 different states. He supervised the
operation of the apartment properties under the Low
Income Housing Tax Credit Program Section 42 of the
IRC. He was also responsible for interfacing with the
various departments on acquisitions, development, construction
management, corporate investment and accounting/performance
reporting. His previous experience includes assisting
with the formation of a registered investment advisory
entity and as a bank officer with U. S. National Bank
of Oregon. Cochran holds a B.A. Degree from Portland
State University. |

Robert
Feibleman is Executive Vice President of
HAND Construction Company, a wholly controlled affiliate
of Nevada H.A.N.D., Inc. His duties include oversight
responsibility for all construction activities as well
as design, engineering and entitlement processing. Current
projects include Bonanza Pines III, Annabelle Pines,
and Rochelle Pines.
Prior to joining HAND Construction Company in May 1998,
Feibleman was the construction manager for Pacific Harbor
Capital. PHC has a nationwide portfolio of over 7,000
apartments developed under the Low Income Housing Tax
Credit Program. He has over 26 years of construction
and development experience and has worked in various
capacities for companies in California and Oregon.
Feibleman has a degree in Real Estate Finance with a
minor study in Architecture from the University of Oregon
and has held general contractor licenses in California,
Oregon, and Nevada. |
