Nevada HAND

Nevada H.A.N.D., Inc. is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that develops affordable housing to improve the lives of low-income individuals in the metropolitan Las Vegas area.

Founded in October of 1993, H.A.N.D. provides partnerships with public agencies, the private development community, concerned citizens, and working families whose wages are not rising as fast as housing costs. HAND believes that true public/private partnerships work best when the limited resources of each partner are properly leveraged throughout the partnership’s undertaking. By involving more people, each will have to shoulder a smaller load. HAND forms synergistic relationships where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
