Our History

1993

Nevada HAND is founded to become a self-sustaining non-profit affordable housing developer.

Nevada HAND receives its 501(c)(3) non-profit determination letter from the IRS.

1997

HAND Construction Company is incorporated to manage the construction of new developments and to assure their long-term quality of construction.

1999

Resident Services Department is created by Nevada HAND to enhance the quality of lives of our residents. The mission of Resident Services is to educate our residents about existing social services and activities and to coordinate their use.
The goals of our Resident Services Department:

1. To empower our multifamily adult residents to improve their financial condition.
2. To enhance the health and welfare of our resident children.
3. To empower our senior residents to live independently longer.

2001

HAND Property Management Company is incorporated to be the Management Agent for Nevada HAND

2009

HAND Property Management Company becomes an Accrediated Management Organization by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
